I am trying to install oracle 11g 2 grid infrastructure and database and continue to get error message “Grid infrastructure configuration failed”. Cause: plug-in fail performance. I know how to partition disk and stamping disk. But I have problem with the creating the root directory. I tried to create the ORACLE_BASE and the path. I guess I am missing something. I believe that the problem is caused by not creating the root directory and the environmental variables correctly. My system is ...
